hereAIM- A novel architecture for modelling, virtualising and managing the energy consumption of household appliances
AIM is a consortium of eleven partner organisations from five different European countries, coordinated by EUR.
The technological background is offered, in the area of household appliances by three manufacturers of:
- white goods, IND
- audiovisual equipment, PHI
- and semiconductor/system level communication and energy management technologies, LANTIQ
The project is complemented by two users of the architecture:
- a communication services operator, FT
- and an electricity network operator, PPC
By three SMEs with experience in residential systems design:
- DOE
- KEL
- and BCT
And by an innovation center with extensive experience in intelligent residential systems design, CFR.
Project duration: 2 years (June 2008 - May 2010).
