WP1- Management and Dissemination

WP1 will monitor the overall performance of the project, and assess conformity of the results with its scientific and technological objectives and perceived goals. It will ensure administration of project resources. WP1 will also host all necessary provisions for addressing and resolving efficiently potential conflicts among the project partners. Furthermore, within this WP all necessary communications means which are necessary in the project (e-mail exploders, audio bridge, document repository, etc.) and a project website will be established.

It will create public awareness of the project work and results through their dissemination via Web presence and via participation at different events such as EC concertation meetings, workshops, etc. and via interaction with other projects in the area of ICT for Environmental Management and Energy Efficiency.

WP 1 comprises the following objectives:

To perform overall management of the administrative, technological and financial activities of the project
To manage the overall communication with the EC
To preserve the Quality of the technological work and deliverables content
To assess the conformance of the final results to initial scope and goals of the project
To manage the overall exploitation plan
To ensure that there is at least one substantial summary of the proceedings of each work-package included in public deliverables
To identify industrial and R&D projects with similar objectives and liaise with them for the purpose of exchanging scientific and technological information
To coordinate dissemination actions through creation of the required liaison with third parties
To establish links and communicate the results to other on-going relevant activities and projects (concerted actions)
To raise public awarenesss of the project work and its results
To create and maintain a Web presence for the promotion of the project work and its results
To establish all necessary means to ensure proper reporting (via web based project reporting tool), communication among project partners (e-mail exploders, audio bridge), and document repository
