Concept/ObjectivesWP3- Design of the power management architecture
WP3 engages the project with the design and development of the main functional entity of the project, that of the Energy Management Device (EMD) and will work in parallel on the deployment of mechanisms for appliances generic energy control, interfaces to the home network.
WP3 comprises the following objectives:
- Design and implementation of the core logic of the EMD
- Design and implementation of power management functions
- Design and implementation of EMD interfaces with the home network, the power line network and the appliances
- Prototyping of the integrated EMD solution
- Realisation of isolated power management experiments for EMD testing purposes
