Concept/ObjectivesWP4- Integration of the AIM architecture with the home network
WP4 defines basic use-cases for the exploitation of the energy management architecture. These will consist of power management scenarios involving the three user categories (power distribution network operators, residential users, communication networks operators) and corresponding services. A parallel task will be concerned with the creation of a an energy resources virtualisation environment and the implementation of proper interworking logic between the EMD and the home network that will enable EMD functionality integration within high level software architectures like OSGi, UPnP and networking services.
WP4 comprises the following objectives:
- Design and implement the use-cases of the architecture
- Define and implement logic for integrating AIM architecture components with the home network
- Define, design and deliver the user services
- Design and implement enhancements on the ESTIA residential gateway to render it compatible for hosting AIM applications
- Design and implement the device virtualisation logic through which the user will be able to access and configure the energy resources of its home environment
- Deliver a set of representative services to be used for the evaluation of the architecture
